He Whispered

He entered my life like a whisper. I needed a whisper.

It was soft, tender, and hardly noticeable. His whisper made my heart race and stand still at the same time. It flowed into my ears, audible but silent and flowed through my mind as redeeming love, grace, forgiveness, reassurance and mercy and then flowed out of my eyes as tears of joy. He tells me to let it flow out and show out in my life by showing redeeming love, grace, forgiveness, reassurance and mercy to others.

I thought I had used up all of the mercy that was coming my way. I was sure had used up all of the grace I could ever hope for.

I opened my mouth to shout and thank God for the whisper.

The whispers never stop. Can you hear Him? Would you like to hear Him? He whispers in His word.

1Kings 19:12-14 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice….,And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
